Singapore-Southeast Asian Pipe Band Championship 2011 – 3rd place, Silver banding.

2nd place solo piping (Mohd. Irfan - March category);

3rd place solo piping (Matthew Soon - March Category);

1st place Solo Tenor drumming (Ivan Lee - MMPB/ MSR);

2nd place Solo Tenor drumming (Gregory Gunawan - SJI/ MSR)

Jakarta Highland Gathering 2011

Acting Pipe Major Mohd Irfan from class 322 leads the team in a gallant effort against much older competitors.

A small Sec 3 away-team of the SJI Pipe Band participated in Scotland in Concert and competed Jakarta Highland Gathering/Competition from 26-30 May 2011.

The team earned a respectable 4th place in the Quintet category despite obvious disadvantages such as the age difference between competing teams and inexperience of our boys. Raphael Chua emerged silver medalist in the solo Bass Drumming category.
