Members of the McNally Memorial Pipe Band welcoming guests to St Regis Hotel, Singapore on New Year's Eve. Among them was Minister George Yeo. We played a special tune for him, none other than the School Rally! To this the Minister warmly acknowledged the pipers from his Alma Mater as he entered the hotel.
New Year's Eve celebrations at St Regis Hotel climaxed with the traditional Auld Lang Syne played exactly at midnight. It resounded along Orchard Road and turned a few heads to our direction, "Bagpipes? In Singapore? On Hogmanay?"
